Fruit Juice Powders
Introduction
Mango, pineapple, grape and mausambi fruit juice powders have been developed using accelerated freeze drying technology. Juices are only mildly heated for sublimation during freeze dehydration process which enables retention of the delicate taste, aroma, colour and flavour. Fruit nutrients like vitamins and minerals are also best retained in this process. The powder disperses readily and uniformly in chilled water to deliver refreshing fruit juice that leave a velvety sensation in the mouth. The product has very high acceptability and is best suited for exports.
