Instant Coconut Chutney Mix
Introduction
Coconut chutney provides a definite tang to many of the traditional South Indian delicacies such as idli, dosa, uddin a vada, bonda etc. Without the seasoning effect of coconut chutney, many of these products stand to lose their traditional appeal. The mix developed by the Laboratory contains coconut gratings, tamarind, green chilli, coriander leaves, ginger, salt, spices and oil hydro besides curry leaves and mustard seeds as essential ingredients. The product reconstitutes almost instantly on addition of water.
