Introduction

This traditional snack item is very popular throughout the length and breadth of this country amongst the old and young alike. It is made out of roasted groundnuts, jaggery, bengalgram dal and sesame seeds. The Laboratory has developed a process for its long term preservation to ensure nutritional, sensory and microbial stability for one year.
