Introduction

Chrysanthemum drying: Drying technology has been standardized for chrysanthemum varieties like Vasantika, Gauri, Maghi White and Jayanti. Freshly harvested flowers are embedded in silica gel and then are dried in O hot air oven at 45 C for 48 hours which was ideal for Vasantika, Gauri and Jayanti, and for cv. Maghi White, drying in microwave oven for 90 second was promising.
