Light, a Malady
Introduction
Can constant light exposure disrupt the sleep-wake cycle leading to energy expenditure and promoting obesity-related diseases, including type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular diseases? The authors say prolonging daily light exposure promotes obesity by decreasing energy expenditure.
