Advanced Textile Dyer
Introduction
The gentle action and novel liquor delivery system of this advanced machine, which also features an advanced automated process control system, enables dyeing and rinsing to be performed continuously and more efficiently. The combination of machine design and process control allows the whole process from loading to unloading to be performed without stopping the fabric or draining and filling the bath. The new system allows for continuous rinsing to be performed more efficiently and in a shorter time, than wasteful 'drop and fill' rinsing. By never stopping the fabric during the process, quality is also improved as the fabric or draining and filling the bath. The new system allows for continuous rinsing to be performed more efficiently and in a shorter time, than wasteful 'drop and fill' rinsing. By never stopping the fabric during the process, quality is also improved as the fabric environment can be constantly controlled. In order to significant water and energy savings, the new machine has enabled companies to increase productivity and improve product quality. The benefits of investing in the new, cleaner technology include:
Total cost savings give a payback of 1.6 year.Water use reduced by 55% and steam consumption by 46%.Shorter processing time leading to 26% increase in capacity.Improved process control.
Advanced Dyeing Technology : The advanced jet dyer uses a unique twin nozzle system to deliver dye and rinse liquors to the fabric in an extended intensive zone. Fabric travels through the machine in a relaxed and open manner, thus allowing improved colour penetration during dyeing and greater water penetration during rinsing.
The process used is continuous. Draining and filling can be avoided because the water is used more efficiently. During rinsing, fresh water is introduced to the fabric by the twin nozzle system. The large diameter nozzle system ensures that the fabric is more easily penetrated. Having a second nozzle doubles the rinsewater penetration. To avoid recontamination of both the fabric and the dye bath, the rinsewater, after travelling through the system, is diverted away from the fabric by a novel liquor bypass. This contaminated water is collected in a drain trough from where its discharge into the local sewerage system can be controlled at an optimum rate, under an existing consent.
