Transfer Printing Technique for Textile Industry
Introduction
In this technique, the desired prints/patterns/designs are first printed on a paper with a suitable class of dye and then these prints / patterns / designs are transferred to the desired fabric by the application of heat and pressure for 30 to 60 seconds.
Special Features
Reduces five conventional steps to only three steps for the same purposes, thus saving time and money. Can be used for printing on materials like polyester, cotton, silk and various acrylic materials. Low cost with no printing faults and useful for Khadi.
