Manufacture of decorative gold plating solution concentrate
Introduction
A national research organisation offers a process for manufacture of decorative gold plating solution concentrate. The concentrate can be used for preparation of decorative gold plating solutions by suitable dilution.
The decorative gold plating solutions thus prepared give rise to easily polished semi bright deposits on bright nickel plated articles like ear rings, bangles and rings of brass of high copper alloy which are used for production of low cost jewellery. Gold is anodically dissolved in a potassium cyanide solution concentrate by adding other chemicals as required.
