Technology Description

The technology is a crop pest control that uses a naturally occurring fungus called Trichoderma to eliminate certain insects and funguses that plague crops such as chili's, eggplants, and cotton.

According to the inventor, the strain of Trichoderma assessed in this report is similar in effectiveness to that marketed by leading competitors, except that it is a slightly different strain, and more importantly the production process leveraging citrus peel waste in India has a significant cost saving over current methods that makes it much closer in cost to chemical treatments.
