Digital Water Turbidity Meter
Product/Process
Instrument for turbidity measurement,
Application/Use
For ascertaining drinking water quality, suitability for aquaculture or release of effluents.
Salient Features of Process/Technology
The instrument works on the principle of absorption of light by the suspended particle matter in the water sample. In this system, the effect of sunlight, tube light, external noise and AC main fluctuations have been minimized.
The power supply is tuned to a particular frequency, which passes through the sample under test. The transmitted light falling on the sensor is converted into an electrical signal, which is processed by an electronic circuitry and displayed as J.T.U. The instrument measures 30x25x15cm.
