Nanofiltration Process for Treatment of Wastewater from Industry
Introduction
Removal of excess chloride and cyanide from waste water.
Salient Technical Features
The process enables separation of chloride from 2000 mg/L in the effluent, to an acceptable level of < 500 mg/L with a water recovery of 75%.
The process is more economical when compared to reverse osmosis and other conventional processes.
Scale of Development
Pilot Scale with 5.0 to 8.0 m3/hr capacity
Status of Commercialization
The NF pilot plant of 5.0 to 8.0 m 3 /h capacity of permeate capacity is successfully commissioned
Major Raw Materials to be Utilized
Prefilters and Membranes Modules
Major Plant Equipment and Machinery Required
Raw Water Pump, High Pressure Pump, Pressure Vessels, Pressure Gauges, Rotameters, Storage tanks etc.,
