Introduction
Advanced PC based Acoustic Emission Analyser for Non-Destructive Testing & Evaluation is an advanced AE System with very powerful state of the art high-speed hardware along with flexible and easy to use 32 bit software tools with Windows 98/2000 based GUI. It is based on PCI bus for high throughput, without loss of AE data, easy expandability with increasing number of channels and efficient performance.
Acoustic Emission Data Acquisition Card (AEDAQ) is a full-length PCI card capable of acquiring AE parameters and waveforms from four independent channels. It uses 32-bit Digital Signal Processor (DSP) for waveform processing & control and FPGAs for Real Time AE parameter extraction. Its input section consists of programmable gain amplifiers and band pass filters.
32- bit Windows based AEA software allows real time "simultaneous" AE features and waveform processing, display, fast storage and replay. It also enables the user to select and view in real time, multiple 1-D or 2-D feature and waveform activity graphs. It has 1, 2 and 3 dimensional location modes. It supports waveform analysis in frequency and time domains.
