Global Crude Oil Price of Indian Basket Increased to US$ 106.05 per bbl on 09.05.2014
Introduction
The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went up to US$ 106.05 per barrel (bbl) on 09.05.2014. This was higher than the price of US$ 105.50 per bbl on previous publishing day of 08.05.2014.
In rupee terms, the price of Indian Basket increased marginally to Rs 6368.30 per bbl on 09.05.2014 as compared to Rs 6328.95 per bbl on 08.05.2014. Rupee closed weaker at 
60.05 per US$ on 09.05.2014 as against Rs 59.99 per US$ on 08.05.2014.
