Entrepreneurship Development Programme on Solar Energy

Introduction

A three days Entrepreneurship Development Programme on Solar Energy started here today at NIESBUD. The programme will provide training on Financial, Technical, Regulatory and Commercial aspects of Solar Energy Entrepreneruship. 

It is the fourth such programme started by NIESBUD in association with TRAI with the objective of promoting Solar Entrepreneurship in India. More than 12 participants from the states of Delhi, UP, Haryana, Maharashtra, Punjab, Bihar who are prospective Entrepreneurs looking at solar business are participating in the programme. 

To give participants more practical knowledge, faculty of the programme are seasoned professionals who also have their own “Solar Energy Business”. 

As on date NIESBUD has trained 45 participants in business, finance, regulatory and technology aspects of Solar Grid connected PV Plants. 

Seeing the response of last 4 programmes, the Programme Director at NIESBUD plans to conduct the programme every month.
