Process for making buff softie leather from buffalo hides.

 

Application:

Used in making leathergoods and furniture upholstery.

 

Feature:

The process involves liming of hide for opening up of fibrous structure; lime splitting; tanning with chrome and chrome syntans; neutralisation to a higher pH (5.5 – 6.0); lubricating with fatliquor; finishing with good quality resin and top coats to achieve rub fastness
