Introduction

Indian company offers to provide low cost access to the technologies for the manufacture of high value products along with basic and detailed engineering. In addition to supplying technologies, the company also takes jobs for the toll manufacturing of the intermediates and bulk drugs. It has collaboration with a number of national research laboratories in India for the development of the technologies and continuous strain improvement. The company has worked for a number of projects in India and Europe. It is one of the major consultants in the area of fermentation in India and all the technologies offered are well tried to 90 M3 scale. Recently, it has successfully transferred a fermentation based and a semi-synthetic technology to a reputed pharmaceutical company in Europe and is currently working with a number of reputed companies in Europe. In the project engineering side, the jobs include basic/detailed engineering for the new projects, improvement in existing plant, air pollution control through better scrubbing systems, solvent recovery systems, improvement in existing solvent recovery, etc. The nature of the projects has been quite wide e.g. fermentation projects, intermediates, bulk drugs, pesticides based on natural extracts, colours based on natural extracts, etc. The main technologies offered and indicative technology transfer costs respectively are indicated below
