Fabric Based Heating Elements for Warmth/Fomentation in Medical Applications

Developed fabric based heating elements are ideal for patients suffering from Arthritis, back-aches, joint-muscle pains and those looking for thermal therapies with cheaper cost. Developed fabric based heating elements, were used and tested for its functioning in warming jacket and heating pads. Heating is found to be very effective. In colder region, the temperature of the developed pads can be maintained at 40-45 oC. A 24 V rechargeable battery is used as a power source. These pads can also be used as a thermal therapy which has been used for centuries to combat backaches, muscle and joint pain.
