Introduction

A strain of bacterium has been isolated and identified which has been found to be very good as biofertilizer, biofungicide and biobactericide provides plant growth promotion acts as a bio-control agent for controlling soil/seed borne pathogens of potato, other vegetables, ornamental, and rice and wheat crop plants.

 

Process Details

 

•  A powdered formulation of strain bacterium Bacillus subtilis, effective in controlling disease caused by the pathogenic species:

•  Rolstonia solanacearum

•  Fusarium

•  Pythium

•  Phytophthora

•  Rhizoctonia

•  Sclerotium

•  Alternaria and

•  Pyricularia

•  Shelf life one year at room temperature (15-37C).

•  The organism produces an antibiotic metabolite, which is fungicidal, bactericidal, supports immune system, biosynthesizes siderophores, stimulatory and decreases toxicity.
