Introduction

 

Ultra Pure water is used for preparation of saline water, dialysis water in hospitals, microbial culture preparation in biotech industries and laboratories, caustic soda plant etc.

 

Salient Technical Features including Competing Features

 

•  Cascaded compact RO system of 40 – 60 L/h capacity

•  It generates permeate of 0 to 2 ppm total dissolved solids (TDS) of Type 2 & Type 3 grade water

•  Compared to conventional separation methods such as evaporation, distillation where the energy consumption and operating costs are very high or can replace even expensive membrane units supplied by multinational companies which cost in lacs of rupees.

•  Pilot Scale 40-60 Liters/Hour capacity

 

Status of Commercialization

 

•  Readily available for Units of 40-60 lit/hr Capacity .

•  Raw Water Pumps, High Pressure Pump, Pressure Vessel (FRP Housing), Pressure Gauges and Rotameters.
