Introduction

 

Acidogenic conversion of waste/wastewater to biohydrogen with simultaneous waste remediation

 

Scale of Operation

 

•  10 m 3 pilot plant operation with food waste and distillery wastewater for the production of biohydrogen (H 2 : 50,000 L/Day)

 

Environmental Impact

 

•  Hydrogen is environmentally clean flue by combustion results in the formation of water with zero carbon emission.

 

Output/ Outcome

 

  • •  Biohydrogen production of 50,000 L/Day

  • •  Can be embedded with existing ETP

  • •  Simultaneous remediation with resource recovery

  • •  Support circular bio economy
